Larke Dunbar

“I write love stories the way I used to study plants—with careful attention to how different elements interact to create something beautiful and unexpected. Whether it’s multiple partners learning to bloom together or alien worlds colliding with human hearts, I’m fascinated by the chemistry that happens when seemingly incompatible elements find their perfect ecosystem. Every story is an experiment in connection, and I’m addicted to discovering what grows when you plant the right seeds in fertile imagination.”

Larke Dunbar discovered her calling during rush-hour traffic jams, dictating steamy storylines into her phone while stuck between fieldwork sites as an ethnobotanist. What started as entertainment for friends and family quickly evolved into something much more intoxicating—the realization that crafting fictional worlds could be just as thrilling as cataloguing rare plant species, but with significantly more creative freedom and considerably steamier results.

Armed with a scientific background and an overactive imagination fed by years of raiding her siblings’ bookshelves—her brother’s sci-fi treasures mixing dangerously with her sister’s bodice-rippers—Larke creates stories where multiple love interests, interstellar adventure, and complex emotional dynamics collide in the most delicious ways possible.

When the COVID-19 pandemic put her formal career on pause, Larke made the leap from weekend warrior to full-time storyteller, and she’s never looked back. Her reverse harem romance series Wild Storms and blazing hot sci-fi romance Out of This World: Stowaway are currently captivating readers on the Radish fiction app. As Radish transitions out of operation in December 2025, Novel Concepts Publishing will release her serials as full-length novels, while her highly anticipated Scentwoven series debuts in late 2025.

These days, you’ll find Larke living her childhood dream—writing episodic romance from her refurbished Airstream as she explores America’s National Parks, accompanied by her faithful writing companion Saint Celestina du Chat (Celeste for short), a tuxedo kitten with impeccable taste in dramatic plot twists.
